Here's what we love about CCS!
CCS
is not a normal dorm by any means. It is a community, a family, and quite the experience! CCS is my home away from home.
Not to use a cliche, but it really is! You experience Northwestern with a family of peers. You can rely on CCS residents
to help you out during a tough time, eat with you, have random hallway conversations with, have late night study sessions
with, party with, celebrate your birthday with, and simply be there whenever you need them. CCS is one of NU's best-kept
secrets, and we want you to be part of the wonderful community that it is! -- Makda F.
CCS
is like home and we are like family. -- Connie C.
The people are awesome. It's great to have
a family-like community when you go to a large school, so you never have that feeling of being lost in a crowd. Everyone
in CCS is so different, so you feel like you always have someone to talk to about something interesting. It's a blast.
-- Anne C.
It is so homey and you can really get to know everyone. For the most part everyone
looks out for each other and you always have someone to bring you food when you are sick. Also, coming from a tiny
high school and coming to a huge university, it was nice to have a smaller community to find my niche in right away. --

I love CCS because it is the perfect atmosphere to get close to everyone you live with
without being overwhelmed. CCS became my family last year, and even though I don't live there anymore I loved
it so much I couldn't stay away. I pretty much sleep in the basement on a regular basis. Another reason I love
CCS is because I can be myself and people accept me for me. I can be lame and watch my lame tv shows, I can be studious
and seclude myself in a room for hours, and I can go out at night and get a little crazy. No matter what I choose
to do, someone is always there to support me, be with me, watch out for me, and help me. I love everything about CCS.
-- Katie R.
As soon as you get to know it you'll see why people love CCS. I can find
a million experiences there-- most of them homey, some of them outrageous and new, all of them with people who I know and
love. -- Molly H.
When I came to college, I was really worried about making new friends and missing
my old friends back home. But at CCS, that's not at all a problem! Right away you are thrown in a mix of about 40 different
people, perspectives, and ideas. Sometimes there's tension, but its a good kind of tension. CCS really does become your
home on campus, and its residents, your best friends and family. I can't imagine what my college experience would be
like without CCS! -- Nick K.
